Kenyan gospel singer, songwriter, influencer, and reality TV personality also known as Nicah The Queen and known for her bold "Jesus Gurl" persona for her songs like "Pagawisha," "Ushuhuda," "Naringa," "Koo Koo," "Wahi Wahi," and the 2023 single "Achana Nao," as well as her feature on the wedding anthem "Harusi Yetu."

Before fame

She began singing in church and school choirs at Herbert Morrison Technical High School. She started performing professionally at local events before entering Kenya's gospel scene in the mid-2010s.

Trivia

She released early singles "Pagawisha" and "Ushuhuda" in 2015 and 2016. She has collaborated with both gospel and secular influenced artists. She appears on the Maisha Magic reality show Oh Sister! which follows the lives and ministries of prominent Kenyan gospel artists.

Family life

Her real name is Veronica Wanja. She was born in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County, Kenya, to a Kikuyu family. She is the oldest of four children. She was raised by a single father. She became a mother as a teenager and gave birth to her first daughter Faith in her mid-teens.
