Before Fame
He began playing chess at a young age. He won the Under-8 World Youth Championship in 2013. He then won the Under-10 title in 2016. He won his first Grand Master tournament at the World Junior Championships in 2017.

He and his sister became the first brother and sister to hold the Grandmaster title. He practices chess between 4 and 5 hours each day. He also enjoys watching and following cricket. He has a very strong memory and once memorized two chapters in a book in 30 minutes.
