Seth Halvorsen

About

Former Minnesota Gatorade Player of the Year that played college baseball at the University of Missouri and the University of Tennessee during his collegiate baseball career. While in college, he earned All-SEC Academic team honors four times. In 2023, he was drafted by the Colorado Rockies with the 202nd overall pick. 

Before Fame

As a senior at Heritage Christian Academy, he was considered the top prospect in the entire state of Minnesota. As a senior, he won a state championship. 

Trivia

He made his official major league debut while pitching against the Baltimore Orioles on August 30, 2024. He recorded nine consecutive scoreless appearances to begin his MLB career. 

Family Life

Although he was born in Chicago, he grew up living with his parents in Minnesota. He is one of four siblings.

He played alongside Kyle Freeland as a member of the Rockies during the 2024 MLB season.
