Spencer Tunick

About

Photographer who stages public art installations featuring thousands of naked volunteers. His largest naked photo installations include Mexico City's Zocalo Square in 2007 and outside Sydney Opera House in 2010.

Before Fame

He attended the New York Military Academy. He earned a degree in Fine Arts from Emerson College.

Trivia

There have been multiple documentaries about his work, including Naked States, Naked World, Positively Naked, and Stay Apart Together.

Family Life

He married artist Kristin Bowler in 2002. His father, Earle David Tunick, founded a photography business.

Lady Gaga was invited to his 2010 Sydney installation but did not participate.
