Jamaican-South African actor, model, photographer, voice artist, and author known globally for playing Yasopp in Netflix's live-action One Piece, and to South African TV audiences for his swaggering turn as Vuyo in the 1Magic drama Unmarried. He also appeared in Of Good Report, The Mauritanian, Office Invasion, Holiday in the Wild, Deep State, Noughts + Crosses, and Professionals.
Before Fame
He attended Titchfield High School, where he was spotted by talent scout Dwight Peters of SAINT International, the Jamaican agency that launched his modeling career. He eventually signed contracts that brought him to South Africa to continue modeling and to begin his acting career in 2001. He enrolled at the New York Film Academy and TVI Actors Studio in 2008. His first major role was in Of Good Report in 2013. He became famous after starring in Once Piece in 2023.

He wrote and published the relationships book The Refined Player: Sex, Lies & Dates in 2015. He was once asked by a fan to lick his face.
Family Life
He was raised in Portland, Jamaica as the first of two children of Jasmine Williams and Carlton (Calton) McDonald.
