Republican politician who became the U.S. Representative for Arkansas's 2nd congressional district in 2011.
He received his law degree from Tulane University School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana before working as the Senior Investigative Counsel for the House Committee on Government Reform.
He was an interim United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Arkansas from December 2006 to June 2007.
His family moved to Magnolia in Columbia County in South Arkansas when he was young.
In 2005 he began working at the White House as Karl Rove's aide.
