Russian volleyball player and Olympian known for playing on the Russian men's national volleyball team and for the volleyball team Zenit Saint Petersburg. He was also part of the team that won gold in the first-ever Nations League tournament in July 2018.
Before Fame
He initially began training in athletics as a young boy but became interested in volleyball after meeting volleyball coach Lyudmila Alekseevna Timofeeva. He began focusing on volleyball by age 8. He joined a youth league in 2012 and won his first youth European Championship in 2013. He debuted as an official member of the Russian national team at the World Cup in 2015.
