Before Fame

He was recruited by Port Adelaide with the 18th draft pick in the 2018 AFL Draft. He made his AFL debut in Port Adelaide's win over Melbourne in the opening round of the 2019 AFL season.

Trivia

His "bow and arrow" goal celebration, for which he has earned the nickname the "Sharpshooter,"  was inspired by Detroit Pistons NBA star Reggie Jackson.

Family Life

He is the nephew of former Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne player Jamie Duursma. His sister Yasmin plays for Port Adelaide in the AFLW.

Associated With

After the 2020 AFL season, he inherited the number seven guernsey from retired veteran Brad Ebert. His current Port Adelaide teammates include Travis Boak, Ollie Wines, and Robbie Gray.
