Before fame

He became interested in music at a young age and began playing the bağlama (also known as Turkish lute) when he was around nine years old. He attended Van Gölü Technical and Industrial Vocational High School and continued developing his musical abilities. He moved to Istanbul and focused on songwriting and composition while working within the Turkish music industry. His first widely recognized success arrived in 2011 when the Black Sea band Karmate released the song "Nayino" which was written and composed by him. He began sharing his compositions and music on YouTube in November 2014. He began working on music connected to the Turkish television series Taşacak Bu Deniz in 2025.

Trivia

He is known for writing songs in both Turkish and Romeika (Rumca) which is a language spoken in parts of the Black Sea region. He is also a poet.

He was born in Kütahya, Turkey, but his family roots come from Çaykara in Trabzon which is a region strongly associated with Black Sea culture and music.
