Nepali singer, composer, and music producer known for songs such as "Timro Maya," "Yo Mann Ta Mero Nepali Ho," "Mero Mayalu," "Jindagi," "Timi Bina," and "Rato Ra Chandra Surya" along with the albums Yo Sansar, Umer, Reason, Tirkha, and Timi. He is also known for his YouTube channel where he posts official music videos, musical short films, songs, and other related content.

Before fame

He began his music career in 2000 with the release of his debut album Yo Sansar. He followed this with Umer in 2001. His third album Reason in 2003 helped lead to his early breakthrough. He successfully transitioned from music into acting after he made his film debut in Bato Muniko Phool in 2010, followed by roles in Veer in 2013, Aadhi Bato in 2014, and Bato Muniko Phool 2 in 2016. He expanded into directing with the film Tshering in 2018.

Trivia

He won Best Playback Singer at the Himalayan International Nepali Music Award in 2020. He won Best Singer at the Nepal Music & Fashion Award in 2022. He was named Best Decade Singer at the AMIN National Music Award in 2023. He has also won Best Modern Singer at the Epic Nepal Music Award. He was honored with a Social Service Award by Ram Chandra Poudel in 2023 for his contributions to social activism.

Family life

His birth name is Suresh Kumar Nepal Pariyar. He was born in an inter-caste family to Ram Nepal and Gita Nepal Pariyar in Sarlahi, Nepal. He married Reena Shahi, and they have two sons together.
