Tanzanian politician who is known for having served as the leader of the Alliance for Change and Transparency. He is also known for having been a member of Parliament for Kigoma Urban and Kigoma Ujiji.
Before Fame
He attended the University of Dar ed Salaam where he earned his Bachelors degree in Economics. He then attended Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, Germany where he earned his Master's degree in Law. He started his career as Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee before being elected as a Member of Parliament in December of 2005.
Trivia
He is also known for having helped pass the Mining Act of 2010 which helped place the mining rights in the hands of Tanzanian nationals.
Family Life
He was born in the village of Mwandiga in the Kigoma district of Tanzania. He has three brothers and six sisters.
