Classic Muppet character known for her on-and-off relationship with Kermit the Frog. She was voiced by Frank Oz from 1976 to 2002. Eric Jacobson began voicing her character in 2001.
Trivia
The inspiration for her character was jazz singer Peggy Lee. Her first appearance came on the ABC TV special Herb Alpert and the TJB on October 13, 1974.
