About
Each year, the graduating class from a rural Texas town competes in the annual Panic competition. The winner of the contest gets $50,000 plus the opportunity to escape the small community. The series is based on Lauren Oliver's novel of the same name.

The show's debut season consisted of ten episodes in total. Filming took place on location near Austin, Texas.
