Dominican politician who rose to fame as the President of the Chamber of Deputies between 2010-2016 after having served as a member. In August 2016, he assumed the city of Santiago de los Caballeros's mayoral office.
He earned his bachelor's of laws degree in 1996 from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra. He later earned his commercial and corporate law degree from the school in 1998.
He served as the president of the Justice Commission of the Chamber of Deputies. He previously served as head prosecutor for the province of Santiago.
In 2014, he married his wife Nahiony Reyes.
He has served under president Danilo Medina as the President of the Chamber of Deputies.
