Abiy Ahmed Ali

Politician who was elected Prime Minister of Ethiopia in 2018. He has served as the leader of the Prosperity Party. In 2019, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to resolve his country's conflict with Eritrea

Before Fame

He earned a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from the Microlink Information Technology College in Addis Ababa.

Trivia

. In June 2021, various countries called for his Nobel Peace Prize to be re-considered because of war crimes committed in Tigray. 

Family Life

He and his wife Zinash Tayachew have three daughters, Deborah, Rakeb, and Amen as well as a son they named, Million Abiy.
