A landlocked country located in the Horn of Africa. It shares borders with Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia, Kenya, South Sudan and Sudan. It is one of just two African countries that are considered to have never been colonized.
Trivia
The country has its own calendar with 13 months in the year. More than 80 languages are spoken. Many Ethiopians follow an Orthodox Christianity which prohibits eating any animal products on certain days of the week.
