About

Freediver internationally recognized for breaking over 30 world records in the indoor and outdoor freediving disciplines, all of which have been either CMAS or AIDA verified. She is the winner of over a dozen World Championship gold medals and three European Championship gold medals, with numerous additional silver and bronze medals accredited to her name as well. In October 2019, she also became the first woman to have reached a depth of -100 m with only the use of her arms, also known as free immersion.

Before Fame

She finished her first federal apnea course in "Apnea Blu Mare" at the age of 13. She became an athlete of Dive Free Roma and Nuoto Belle Arti in 2009 and in 2012, she joined the indoor and outdoor Italian national freediving team. 

Trivia

She is the subject of the biographical documentary The Deepest Breath, which was released on Netflix in July 2023. 

Family Life

Her mother is a homemaker and her father, Enzo, is a graduate of Sapienza University and an associate corporate director. She had been in a relationship with her diving trainer, Steve Keegan, until his passing in June 2017. She began dating Mauro DePapa in 2018.
