American television personality, yoga instructor, and entrepreneur who is best known as The Right Honourable Countess of Sandwich. She hosted the Smithsonian Channel series An American Aristocrat's Guide to Great Estates and appeared on the British reality program Ladies of London. She also operates a 250,000-subscriber strong YouTube channel called American Viscountess, where she presents travelogue tours of English country houses and discusses British customs, culture, and history.

Before Fame

She studied computer science at Indiana University before relocating to London to work for a digital agency, where she met Luke Montagu in 2003. After they wed the following year, she worked as a yoga instructor to support her husband, who was suffering from health complications at the time.

Trivia

She authored a cookbook called Superfoods: The Flexible Approach to Eating More Superfoods & Superfoods Superfast. She has appeared on the Smithsonian Channel's series Million Dollar American Princess and in the CNN documentary series Diana, which is based on Princess Diana's life and royalty.

Family Life

She was born Julie Fisher to her father, Thomas Fisher, and grew up with four siblings. She wed Luke Montagu, 12th Earl of Sandwich, in 2004, and in 2025, upon her husband's succession to the Earldom, she officially became the Countless of Sandwich. She has four children, including two from a previous marriage and two from her marriage with Montagu.
