Minnesota-based musician who was the guitarist and singer of The Crush. He had a number of other bands as well, including The Book of Dead Names, Infinity Dive and The Dirty Hits.
He grew up in Minnetonka, then moved to Minneapolis after graduating high school.
The Crush released their debut album Tonight Will Ruin Tomorrow in 2000 and in 2002, they toured with Green Day.
He was survived by his wife Marisa and his son Bronson.
The Crush's second album Here Is Where I Cross My Fingers was released in 2002 on Billie Joe Armstrong's label Adeline Records.
