Korean American comic book artist, illustrator, concept artist, and visual-development director whose extensive work spans across comics, video games, and film. He became best known for illustrating major comic book titles including Tomb Raider and Uncanny X-Men before transitioning into concept design and visual development for Marvel Studios' cinematic universe. Before Fame
Early in his career, he joined Image Comics through an internship at Extreme Studios, where he worked on titles such as Avengelyne and Glory/Angela: Angels in Hell. He studied illustration at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA before returning to comics in 1999 with Tomb Raider.
Trivia
His work on Tomb Raider #1 in 1999 reached the status of highest-selling comic book of that entire year. He transitioned into video games by working on the concept art for God of War before joining Marvel Studios in 2010. During his tenure at Marvel, he has worked on almost every major film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2010.
