Ane Farstad

About

Norwegian speed skater, short-track speed skater, and Instagram star. She made her international debut at the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics and won a bronze medal in the female singles event. She also competed in short-track events and contributed to Norway's victory in the mixed-team relay at the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics in Lillehammer. She also competed in the Junior World Speed Skating Championships in Helsinki, Finland in the 2016-2017 season. She was named Norwegian Skater of the Year in 2020. 

Before Fame

She began speed skating at seven years old. She has had a dream of representing Norway in the Olympics since childhood and got her start after qualifying and attending the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics. 

Trivia

She was one of the Olympic flag bearers during the opening ceremony of the 2016 Youth Olympic Winter Games in Lillehammer, Norway. She speaks both Norwegian and English. She is the founder of CASPARA, a Scandinavian activewear line. She was dubbed the "world's sexiest speed skater" by her large number of social media followers. Her anefarstad TikTok page has amassed over 140,000 followers and her anefarstad Instagram page has over 220,000 followers.

Family Life

She was born and raised in Trondheim, Norway. Her brother Odin Farstad is also a professional skater. Her father Rune coached her to success.
