Originally known as a member of the Mexican pop band Jeans, she began her solo career in 2002. Jeans would later reunite in 2015 and rebrand as JNS for the release of the album Metamorphosis.
She earned a degree in communications from Anahuac University.
In 2010, she cofounded the online fashion and lifestyle magazine Mundo Rosa.
She married musician José Portilla in 2010, and in 2013 they had their first son, Ignacio. They welcomed a second son in March 2018.
She joined Karla Diaz-Leal Arreguin in the reunion of Jeans and the subsequent rebranding JNS.
