About

Quarterback who began his collegiate career at the University of Florida in 2020 and had a breakout year as a sophomore as the Gators' starting quarterback in 2022. He rushed for over 100 yards and three touchdowns during 2022 and earned SEC Offensive Player of the Week honors for the performance. In 2023, he was selected by the Indianapolis Colts fourth overall in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Before Fame

He had a dominant high school football career while playing for Eastside High School in Gainesville, Florida. During his time as Eastside's quarterback, he compiled 78 combined rushing and passing touchdowns. 

Trivia

He appeared in just four games as a freshman for Florida in 2020, allowing him to attain redshirt eligibility. He was named to the 2021 All-SEC Freshman Team.

He was born in Miami, Florida, and raised in Gainesville. His mother's name is LaShawnda Lane.
