About

Renowned animator, cartoonist, comic book artist, and social media star most illustriously known for the original animated stories on his self-titled YouTube channel, and for having founded the widely lauded Antik Animated Studio. An award-winning author of comic books like Parahin, Noman, and Chal, he also illustrated the bestselling Ayman Sadiq self-improvement book Vallage Na in 2019. He has worked with a multitude of prominent domestic and international creators, musicians, and brands, and his YouTube channel has drawn in over 1 million subscribers.

Before Fame

He began drawing when he was in the 9th grade; however, his adoration for comic books came about at a very early age. While studying for his degree in Information and Communication Engineering at the Bangladesh University of Professionals, he earned a position as a Creatives Executive for the renowned 10 Minute School. During that time, he created Antik Animated Studio and commenced his rise to YouTube stardom. 

Trivia

In December of 2021, he became one of 18 creators to be honored at the 1st Marvel of Tomorrow Influencers Summit and Awards in Bangladesh. While he topped the Art category, other awarded social media personalities at the event included Ridy Sheikh in the Dance category and Iftekhar Rafsan in the division of Food Blogging.

Family Life

His full name is Mahathir Mahmood Antik. Shortly after being born in Bangladesh, he relocated with his parents to Nagasaki, Japan, until they returned to Bangladesh when he was 7 years old. He posted a photo of himself alongside his father on his being_antik Instagram account on October 1, 2022.

Associated With

His August 2022 original song, "Bhallage!," featured fellow YouTube star Pritom Hasan. He shared an official lyrics video for the tune on his channel on the 1st of that month.
