Soccer coach known for being the coach of such clubs as Vasco da Gama and Portuguesa. He was named Placar magazine's Manager of the Year in 2005 after leading Corinthians to a Campeonato Brasileiro Série A title.

He was a chief police officer in Rio de Janeiro before his career as a manager.
