Polio activist who has led an effort to eradicate polio from Pakistan. During her time as UN Ambassador for Polio Eradication, she helped reduce the disease by 70% in her home country.
She was the first child in Pakistan to be administered the oral Polio vaccine. This helped spark the immunization campaign.
She has a bachelors from Oxford Brookes University and she studied for her masters at University College London.
Her parents are former Prime Minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto and former President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari. She has one brother and one sister.
She and Malala Yousafzai are both female activists in Pakistan.
