Syrian-German actor who is known for his role as Salim in the Netflix miniseries Unorthodox. In 2025 he played the role of Methaneel in the Amazon Prime series House of David.
Before Fame
He first appeared in a short documentary called I'm Here now Somehow in 2017, in which he talked about his experiences around the Syrian civil war. He made his television debut in 2020 in Unorthodox.
Trivia
He has spoken in past interviews about his and his family's journey to escape war, as well as what resettlement in Germany was like. He has enjoyed playing guitar and he bought one after settling in Germany.
Family Life
He was born and spent part of his childhood in Idlib, but the Syrian civil war forced him and his family to move to Aleppo. He fled to Germany in September 2015 seeking asylum to escape the conflict.
