Cometan

About

British author, philosopher and entrepreneur known by the pen name Cometan who founded The Jesse Millette Company, officially known as The People's Constitutional Company of Jesse Millette. He also founded Astronism and is the sole author of The Omnidoxy. 

Before Fame

His journey to fame began when he was 14 years old when he thought of the Jesse Millette mystery stories. Up until that point, he never felt focused or knew what he wanted to do. The stories gave him a focus and stopped him from going down dark paths like others around him.          Cometan started working as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire and Lancaster University teaching and marking on subjects including human rights, new religions and philosophy. Three articles that Cometan has written were recently published in the Oxford Journal of Law and Religion, the North West Catholic History Journal and the International Journal for the Study of New Religions. PhD work: Cometan started his PhD in January 2021 and is expected to submit his thesis titled Religious Freedom & State Recognition of Belief in September 2023. Astronist books: Cometan published two new Astronism books in 2022 named 'Astronism: the religion of the stars' and 'The Astronist Statement'. In 2023, Cometan will publish his latest work on Astronism called 'The Astronist System' which reflects on his writing of the Omnidoxy, the founding treatise of Astronism. Cometan is also now working on his second treatise, what he has already labelled the 'central treatise of Astronism', called the Astrodoxy which is expected to be published in the near future.

Trivia

He's widely known for his Jesse Millette teen detective book series, which he turned into a brand itself. He has formed his own philosophy, known as The Philosophy of Millettism. His real name is Brandon Reece Taylor. He has also been known as Brandon Taylorian. 

Family Life

He grew up in rural North West England. He has seven half-siblings named Lucia, Kieran, Charlotte, Kent, Zara, Jay and Edie and three step-siblings named Maegan, Darius and Lewis. His parents split up when he was four years old. His mother is named Louise J. Counsell and his father is named Sean Frederick Taylor. He dated Liana Tiratsuyan from February 2018 to September 2019. He began a relationship with a nurse named Shanice George in April 2023.
