She is also known for directing Mette Towley's music video "MAMA'S EYES."

Before fame

She grew up surrounded by cameras, editing rooms, and world travel. She moved to the United Kingdom and studied Video Art at Central Saint Martins in London and graduated in 2014. She was selected for the Bloomberg New Contemporaries exhibition at London's ICA for her video artwork Black Mesa in 2014. She created documentary-inspired projects early in her career including Big Mountain Diné Bikéyah in 2015 which explored Navajo land rights in Arizona.

Trivia

Her film The Truth Takes a Journalist for The New York Times earned major advertising honors including D&AD, Clio, AICP, and Webby Awards and was nominated at Cannes Lions in 2022. She was officially recognized as an Ad Age Director to Watch in 2022. Her music video for Mette Towley's "MAMA'S EYES" won Video of the Year at the 2023 UK Music Video Awards, won the Ciclope Grand Prix in 2023, and earned two Yellow Pencils at the 2024 D&AD Awards.

Family life

She was born in Bangkok, Thailand and spent much of her childhood in Nepal before basing herself in Berlin, Germany. She was born to parents who worked as documentary filmmakers. She announced in 2026 that she was expecting her first child with actor Charles Melton.
