U.S. women's soccer phenom who scored the gold medal-winning goals at both the 2008 and 2012 Olympic games. In 2015, she helped the U.S. women's team win the World Cup, earning tournament MVP honors while becoming the first woman to score a hat trick in a World Cup final match.
She trained in soccer at Delran High School under the guidance of Rudy "The Red Baron" Klobach. She played college soccer at Rutgers.
She became the first player, male or female, to score a gold medal-winning goal in two consecutive Olympics.
