Russian pastry chef, cookbook author, and television host known for his award-winning desserts and online baking courses along with being the owner and head pastry chef of Pâtisserie Riviera Monte-Carlo. Before fame
He graduated with honors from Moscow's Tsaritsyno College as a pastry chef and began his professional pastry career in Moscow. He founded the Confectionery House of Alexander Seleznev in 2004. He and business partner Nikolai Zhur took over Pâtisserie Riviera in Monaco in 2015.
Trivia
He was named Moscow's Best Pastry Chef in 2000 and Russia's Best Pastry Chef in 2001. He hosted the television program Sweet Stories beginning in 2005 and eventually presented Easy Recipes in 2017. He has written more than 20 books about pastry and cooking.
Family life
His real name is Alexander Seleznev. He learned to bake from his mother who regularly made apple charlotte using apples from the family's garden.
