Singer and rapper commonly known as Faze who became one of Nigeria's most popular hip-hop artists with chart-topping solo singles like "Faze Alone," "Need Somebody" and "Originality." He is the first artist in Nigeria's history to release three straight platinum-selling albums.
He first gained notice when he won the 1994 DBN Karaoke contest. His career took off soon afterward when he joined the group Plantashun Boiz.
He won an Africa Movie Academy Award for his musical contributions to the film Alero's Symphony (2011), in which he also acted.
