Founder of the Taipei International Music Festival and world famous concert violinist.
He was born in Taiwan and began playing violin when he was five; he attended the Juilliard School and debuted at Avery Fisher Hall in New York City at the age of nineteen.
Many of his records have been Grammy Award-nominated and have won. He has also been awarded The Gramophone’s Record of the Year.
He married a pediatric resident named Dr. Deborah Jui-Yuan Ho in 1995.
He has recorded with many musicians, including Yo-Yo Ma.
