American professional Skateboarder and host of the podcast The Nine Club With Chris Roberts. It is an interview-style program where he and co-hosts Roger Bagley and Kelly Hart interview the most legendary names in professional skateboarding. His skating fame has led him to amass over 10,000 followers on Twitter. 

Before Fame

He was born in Inglewood, California, and raised in Malibu, California. He grew up skateboarding around Los Angeles and Southern California. In 2007, he turned pro for Chocolate Skateboards. 

Trivia

His chrisroberts Instagram page has 100,000 followers and features photos of him skateboarding as well as the famous faces he has interviewed. In December 2021, he posted a photo of himself on the set of The Price Is Right. The Nine Club with Chris Roberts featured rapper Lil Wayne, who is a recreational skateboarder, in late 2016, garnering over 350,000 views. 

Family Life

His cat, Garvy, was figured prominently in a 2009 segment of Crailtap's "Lil Slice of Life" web clip. Garvy went on to be featured on a series of skateboard decks and merchandise and a variety of his sponsors' brands. 

Associated With

Roberts collaborated with Marc Johnson and Kenny Anderson to launch the "Back Forty" project in mid-2013/early 2014. It was meant to build and retain quality skateboarding media, industry, and cultural content by and for skateboarders, instead of allowing outside companies unrelated to skate culture to capitalize on skateboarding's popularity and global reach.
