British contemporary multimedia artist, photographer, installation artist, and poet known for her surreal self-portraits and immersive botanical works which she shares on Instagram and YouTube under the handle @claireluxtonart. She is also known for having her work show in outlets such as Harper's Bazaar, Wonderland, The Independent, and Good Housekeeping and for showing her work internationally.
Before fame
She graduated from Goldsmiths University of London with a bachelor's degree in fine art in 2014. She began developing a practice built around self-portraiture using her own body as both subject and material. She held her first solo exhibition Avalon in 2015, and her second solo exhibition Botanica followed in 2017.

She is from the United Kingdom and has been based in rural East Sussex. She learned to weld from her father, and her first experience welding was in her dad's workshop.
