Before Fame

She originally planned on becoming a nurse before changing her mind and getting a teaching degree. After a few years of teaching she resigned and moved to Greece. She began acting shortly after. 

Trivia

In 1989, she made her television debut in the series Inkom' Edla Yodwa.

Her parents are Wright Tadeyo Chiume and MaNdlovu Chiume. She has been married four times.
