Podcast host, outdoor enthusiast, and content creator known for being the co-host and co-creator of National Park After Dark with Cassandra Yahnian. She is also known for her Instagram account @dlarock_ and her Fable profile, where she shares personal updates, reading activity, outdoor interests, and content connected to National Park After Dark with over 20,000 Instagram followers.

Before fame

She developed a love for the outdoors early in life. Her 2011 trip to Yellowstone and discovery of the book Death in Yellowstone helped inspire the interests that eventually led to the creation of the podcast National Park After Dark. Her big break came when she as Cassie launched the podcast National Park After Dark in January 2021.

National Park After Dark won both the Webby Award and People's Voice Award in the Podcasts: History category at the 2026 Webby Awards. She is the founder of The Giving Ground. She loves dogs, is a dog owner, and has worked as a veterinary technician.

Family life

She grew up in southern New Hampshire and has lived in different parts of the United States including the Pacific Northwest and the Denver area. Her father Donald died in 2010. Her partner Ian died suddenly in May 2022.
