Known for her time as head writer on the soap opera Days of Our Lives. She served in varying head-writing capacities beginning in 1985 and lasting through the 2010s. She was nominated for multiple Daytime Emmy and Writer's Guild of America awards in recognition of her work.
She graduated with her B.F.A. in theater from the University of Southern California.
She won the Daytime Emmy award for best writing in 2008 for her work on One Life to Live. In April 2012, her debut book Momaholic: Crazy Confessions of a Helicopter Parent was published.
She is married with four children.
She has worked prolifically alongside lead actor Josh Taylor during her time as head writer for Days of Our Lives.
