Famous during her lifetime for her work with the Argentine Dotto Models agency, Ramos later became known for her tragic death at age eighteen from a heart attack believed to have been caused by anorexia-related malnutrition.
Early in her career, she participated in modeling shoots in Mexico and Japan.
Tragically, both she and her older sister and fellow model, Luisel Ramos, died of eating-disorder-related heart failure, Luisel having lost her life in mid-2006.
Her father, Luis Ramos, played soccer for the Uruguayan national team.
She and American model Carre Otis both suffered from eating disorders that resulted in severe heart damage.
