Luxemburger politician who was appointed as Deputy Prime Minister of Luxembourg in 2013. He's also served as the country's Minister for Economy and Trade and is a member of the Luxembourg Socialist Workers' Party.
He studied at the ICHEC Brussels Management School and the University of Greenwich. After graduating in 1995, he started serving as a councilor for the commune of Kayl.
He's also served as chairman of the companies Cegedel and Enovos.
He was born in Dudelange, Luxembourg and is openly gay.
He started serving as Minister for Economy and Trade under Jean-Claude Juncker in 2012.
