Dominican businessman and politician who served as his country's Minister of Public Works and Communications between 2012 and 2019. He announced plans to run for president in 2020 as a member of the Dominican Liberation Party.
He studied at Instituto Politecnico Loyola and at the University of Quebec.
In December 1983, he founded his first company which specialized in technology equipment sales.
His parents' names are Miriam and Gonzalo. He married Silvia López in 1984. They have children named Mónica, Silvia and Gonzalo.
