Best known as the lead singer and co-founder of the Lebanese rock band Mashrou' Leila. He founded the group in 2008 in Beirut, Lebanon. In 2015, he and the group released their 5th studio album called El Leil.
He studied graphic design at American University of Beirut. He initially formed his rock band Mashrou' Leila as a workshop while he was still a student there.
In 2013, he was featured on the cover of the French Tetu Magazine. That same year, he and his bandmates released their 1st live album called Live in Baalbeck.
He was born in the US, and raised in Lebanon.
He and his bandmates had their concert at the 2010 Byblos International Festival attended by the former Lebanese prime minister Saad Hariri.
