Canadian hockey player and social media personality known for posting hockey lifestyle content on TikTok under the handle @itshunterfriesen where he is known for combining college hockey, travel vlogs, locker room moments, and day in the life videos that showcase what it's like to be a student athlete which has helped him amass over 100,000 TikTok followers.

Before fame

He began playing hockey at a young age. He developed through competitive youth hockey systems playing for the Winnipeg Warriors U14 AAA team in 2015-2016 and the Winnipeg Warriors U15 AAA team in 2016-2017. He then attended RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna where he played at the U16 Prep and U17 Prep levels during the 2017-2018 season. He began his junior hockey career with the Selkirk Steelers in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League during the 2020-2021 season. He continued with the team in 2021-2022 and moved to the Espanola Paper Kings in the NOJHL for the 2022-2023 season before being traded to the Soo Eagles in January 2023. He committed to Arizona State University in July 2023 where he joined the ACHA Division I hockey program as a freshman. He began posting content on TikTok in late 2022.

His social media journey really began in May 2022 when he filmed a 10-day trip to Costa Rica with friends.
