Kenyan politician, attorney and activist who made a name for himself as a senator for Siaya beginning in 2013. Previously, at age 29, he became the youngest MP in Kenya when he was elected for the Ugenya Constituency as a KANU candidate.
He earned law degrees from both the University of Nairobi and Kenya School of Law.
In 2002, he ran for President of Kenya as part of the Social Democratic Party but received just 0.4% of the votes.
His parents' names are Josfina and Apolo. He married academician Betty Kaari Murungi. His children's names are Lavender, Lynette, Zeni, Josephine, Micheal, Steven and Bob.
In 2017, he won a Supreme Court case that negated the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
