Jennifer "Kitty" Dunn

Drummer often known as Kitty and known for being the longtime drummer for the New York electropunk band Mindless Self Indulgence and having played for them beginning in the late 1990s. She is also known for appearing on the band's Our Pain, Your Gain live show on DVD in 2007.

Before Fame

She started playing the drums as a kid but then stopped in middle school for a period of time. She borrowed a drum set when she was an adult, rediscovered her timing, and when she went to return the kit the owner let her keep it so began playing again. She was initially brought in as a temporary player for Mindless Self Indulgence but was then promoted to a full-time member as the band's sound and live show took off in 1997.

Trivia

She and MSI played the Projekt Revolution tour hosted by Linkin Park in 2007 and headlined the Kerrang! Relentless tour in 2009. She played steel pans during live versions and recordings of the song "Evening Wear." She is known for performing wearing a white-glove and black-dress stage look.

She grew up in New York City. She is a mother.
