Certified food and culinary scientist whose self-titled website and app offers recipes, scientific cooking techniques, and kitchen organization and stocking skills. As a senior research scientist, she develops healthy food, beverages and children's products for people around the world.
She has a bachelor's degree in food science and master's degree in agriculture from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. She went on to study culinary arts at The Art Institute of Orange County.
In 2017 she launched the The Jessica Gavin Scholarship Program for students with a passion for advancing the science and technology of food.
She and her husband have a son and a daughter.
In 2018 she was invited by Martha Stewart to present a demonstration at the Martha Stewart Food & Wine Experience in LA.
