Jim Ratcliffe

About

British chemical engineer and business executive who is best recognized for being the chairman and CEO of the INEOS chemicals group, which he founded in the year 1998. The company is estimated to have had a turnover of $65 billion in the year 2021. 

Before Fame

He was raised in a council house in the town until the young age of ten. He attended Beverley Grammar School. He graduated with a BSc in chemical engineering at Birmingham University and an MBA from London Business School.  

Trivia

In May of 2023, the Sunday Times Rich List 2023 estimated his net worth at £29.688 billion, making him the second wealthiest figure in the UK. He is the founder of a charity called Go Run for Fun.

Family Life

His birth name is Sir James Arthur Ratcliffe. He has two sons with ex-wife Amanda Townson, and one daughter from a previous relationship with Maria Alessia Maresca. He has been in a relationship with Catherine Polli.
