Phillipe Salon in Columbia, SC, where he specializes in corrective color, natural transitioning to gray hair, and blonding. His j.phillipe TikTok account boasts over 1.2 million followers and includes dance clips and videos of his work as a stylist.

Before Fame

He is a graduate of Paul Mitchell the School Columbia. He founded J. Phillipe Hair & Makeup Design in 2018, which is a traveling design team for runway and editorial styling. In 2018, he opened his salon in Columbia, South Carolina.

He has been a stylist for numerous runway shows including events at New York Fashion Week and the Project Runway Designer Showcase. His work has been featured on the covers of Charleston Magazine and Imirage Magazine. He also uses his j.phillipe89 Instagram page as a platform to show off some of his designs and other hair content. 

Family Life

He is of Haitian and Puerto Rican descent. He is married to his husband, David Robinson.
