Grammy award-winning singer and songwriter best known as Pedrito Fernández or Pedro Fernández. He has recorded over 40 studio albums during his singing career. In addition to being a well-respected musical artist, he is also an award-winning television and film actor. He made acting appearances in over 25 different films as well as seven different soap operas. 

Before Fame

He began his signing career at the young age of seven. He released his first studio album, La de la Mochila Azul, just two years later. 

Trivia

He received his first career Latin Grammy award in 2001 for 'Best Ranchero/Mariachi Album' due to the popularity of his Yo No Fui album. He received his second Latin Grammy award in 2010 for 'Best Regional Mexican Song' because of his song "Amarte a la Antigua."

Family Life

He and his wife, Rebeca, have three children. He and his wife were married in 1987.
