Jose Cuas

Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers during the 11th round of the 2015 MLB Draft. He has also pitched in the Arizona Diamondbacks and Kansas City Royals minor league farm systems. He pitched at the University of Maryland from 2012 until 2015.

Before Fame

He was originally drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays during the 40th round of the 2012 MLB Draft out of high school but he chose to attend college instead. He is a graduate of Grand Street Campus High School in Brooklyn, New York.

Trivia

Although he is a pitcher, he led the Maryland Terapins in home runs during his junior and senior seasons. 

Family Life

He grew up living with his family in Brooklyn, New York but was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. His younger brother Alex is also a baseball player. He has a son and a daughter with his long time partner.
